This is quite literally the first quilt I ever made - look at that edge stitching!
I love sunflowers. I quilted this quilt freehand on a treadle sewing machine. I'm so grateful for my longarm now!
This stitch pattern is called "Spiderwebs E2E"
Every quilt gets a new needle and a thorough tension check.
Watching the longarm stitch is like magic.
The top of this quilt laid nice and flat...
...but the bottom of the quilt had extra fullness. I can work the fullness into the quilting, and there was no wrinkling after binding.
I love this stitch pattern! It reminds me of cherry blossoms.
All binding is attached with my Featherweight 222. The hand crank lets me be so accurate!
The hummingbird decal on the machine is in honor of my Grandma, who also loved quilting. She's my hero.
This is how binding looks from the front of the quilt...
...and this is how it looks from the back. Gotta love that stitching.
There's nothing quite like getting a miter *just* right, I love it.
A very happy customer! (We do not allow the dogs near customer quilts - this one belongs to Luna!)
